You're welcome. I can't seem to get zgv working on my BL2 system - not
because of this file or anything, but likely because something isn't
configured correctly. I'm suspecting that it's libvga.conf. The symptom
is that, when I type "zgv" from the command line, I get a grey rectangle
centered top to bottom in the middle of my screen, the top and bottom
thirds of the screen being black. The rectangle stretches across the
width of the screen. After this, my display becomes useless. I can't
ctrl-alt-Fx to any other virtual consoles I may have open (same grey
rectangle appears on all of them). Pressing ctrl-c in the offending
console makes the ledt and right edges of the rectangle go fuzzy and
causes a high-pitched faint tone to emmanate from the monitor. The only
thing that can return the display to normalcy is ctrl-alt-del - a reboot.
Incidentally, the same symptoms occur when, after I've run links in
console mode (links -g 640x480x16) I exit the program (hit the "q" key).
Can anyone give some insight into what might be the problem here, and
maybe pointers on how to fix it?

Thanks, James
