Tucows lists another SVGAlib gif/jpeg/png viewer for Linux console:
gallery.

The author (Polish) apparently lost interest in it (see
malekith.topnet.pl) but you can download it anyway from
ftp://ftp.pld.org.pl/people/malekith/gallery-3.1.tar.gz
(source code?)

Tucows gives it a 76% rating, zgv 69%, seejpeg 62%.

The image viewer recommended for use with DOS Lynx is Display, and it
claims to be available also for Linux. I have not tracked it down yet.
It views many formats and converts and manipulates and is fast unless you
are trying to view mono in which case it is ridiculously slow.

Another listing, of PNG-viewers, (with info on Display) suggests wb0. It
also lists GRAV but 24-bit support is broken (along with much else).
