Why? What are the other files (libslang, etc.) used for?
They take up an extra megabyte (which was one of your objections to using
a newer glibc6 - takes up more space).

Is there some advantage to being able to run Links 2.1 in X? (Does it do
things it would not do without X, maybe plugins such as Realaudio?)
