Not really, Arnaud. There is an entire genre of popular books based on really silly fictive Biblical "discoveries," some by credentialed scholars that appear to have defected to the "dark side" for much more money than a university professor makes. Good scholarship is not a "men's club" that is responsible only to their own circle of colleagues but, imo, has a duty to inform or re-inform a public misled by the hucksters of nonsense. This not an exclusive money making scheme by non-credentialed preacher-archaeologists uncovering the Ark of the Covenant or Noah's big wooden boat except real academics chasing the book royalties can make it sound believable and compelling.

That kind of analysis is nonsense in the first place.
Even considering that it needs to be debunked is absurd.

be true as the textual varriants cause a huge problem
