I have a .pdf file from Tim Hegg with a photograph of the scrap. I noticed
that the writer did not have the most even of hand writing, but that his
waws were noticeably longer than his yods, and in the verse in question,
that the yod stops short of reaching the aleph. In other words, there is a
noticeable gap between the yod and the aleph.

What about 1 Samuel 16:1? 1 Samuel 1:11? Esther 8:6? Psalm 66:18? But most
of the time where R)H is followed with a B- prefix, it refers to a place,
“in”. I have yet to find anywhere in Biblical Hebrew where that specific
idiom is used (possible I missed one).
Incidentally, YR) to fear is followed by a B- prefix in poetry, e.g. Psalm
46:2, 49:5 and Jeremiah 51:46.

Are you taking post-Biblical Hebrew and applying it to Biblical Hebrew,
again?
