you'll see that the list advertises itself as "Hebrew Bible List." Also, your
beliefs of the Massoretic phonetics aside, the vocalizations do convey
important
information and issues such as dagesh/rafe are generally treated in Biblical
Hebrew grammars.

Speaking on behalf of the moderators, Tiberian (or any other) vocalization of the text is well within our forum's charter. The focus is not just the language, but anything relating to the Hebrew Bible; discussion of the ancient versions, e.g., the LXX, is also within charter -- as long as it remains close to the question of understanding the Hebrew Bible text. If it wanders too far afield, we'll let you know... :-)
