I do have SPEzra, but I still need to copy what appears and re-format it

Part of the problem -- indeed, I think most of the problem -- lies in the
fact that SPEzra is NOT a unicode font but one of the legacy fonts.

I get the text in Hebrew characters from you George.
Can you kindly explain to me how one goes about installing unicode so
that one can read unicode hebrew and greek? My web browser has both
built in (along with 2 gazillion others).
Is unicode only meant to be read on the web? And if so, what does one do
when one wishes to post something from a word document on a web page?
Jim
If you have Arial Unicode MS installed in your C:\Windows\Fonts
directory, it will handle both Greek and Hebrew. If you then set your
default font in IE to Arial Unicode MS, it should display properly. For
really good Hebrew characters I recommend the SBLHebrew font from
www.sbl-site.org.
If you don't have Arial Unicode MS, I would recommend that you download
the Titus Cyberbit Basic font (google it) and set it as your default
font. Arial Unicode MS used to be freely downloadable, but is no longer.
It is now available with Microsoft Publisher.
