That was my small contribution.
Here is another from Swanson, J. (1997). Dictionary of Biblical Languages with Semantic Domains : Hebrew (Old Testament) (electronic ed.)

>> BLG
1. LN 25.116-25.134 (hif) rejoice (Job 10:20; Ps 39:14[EB 13]+); 2. LN 67.78-67.117 (hif) flash, i.e., figurative extension of the quickness of a flash of light, this is to take an action very quickly and suddenly (Am 5:9+); 3. LN 25.116-25.134 (hif) unit: gleam, beam, smile, i.e., have a radiant face, implying lack of worry or suffering (Job 9:27+)

And from a much older lexicon: Gesenius' Hebrew and Chaldee lexicon to the Old Testament Scriptures.

>> BLG not used in Kal. Arab. to be bright, to shine forth as the dawn. V. to laugh, to be cheerful, from the idea of a bright countenance.
Hiphil - (1) to cause to shine forth. Am. 5:9, "causing desolation to shine forth upon the mighty," i.e. suddenly bringing it upon them; a metaphor taken from the dawn quickly and suddenly spreading itself, compare Joel 2:2.
(2) to make cheerful, sc. the countenance, to be made cheerful, Psalm 39:14; Job 9:27; 10:20. <<
