<p><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:black">Join other enthusiastic volunteers for 10 in-depth classes and 20 hours of practical learning outside of class. Classes cover a variety of compost and education topics that
</span><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">will prepare you to become
<span style="color:black">a compost educator</span><span style="color:#1F497D"> </span>
in Tompkins County<span style="color:black">. The 20 hours </span>of training <span style="color:black">
outside of class include hands-on composting, teaching or assisting at classes, researching compost topics, and designing an independent volunteer project. After training, use your new compost know-how and teaching experience to help others in the community.</span></span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:black">Training is held on Thursday evenings, 6:00 – 8:00pm, from March 4th to May 13th. The first half of training will be conducted virtually over Zoom, while the second half will be
 a mix of in-person and virtual.</span><span style="font-size:11.0pt"> </span><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:black">To accommodate the public school break, class will
<u>not</u> be held on April 8th.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
