David,
I cut my scion wood as late as possible, rinse it with water, shake off
excess, wrap in plastic food wrap, label the bundle, slip bundle in a large
"freezer quality" ziploc (often 6-8 bundles per ziploc), store in a fridge
kept 32-38 degrees. When short of rootstock, I have grafted wood stored that
way as long as 14 months later with good success.
