A site I read said the latest version was 5.78e.

If you still want this version, a search reports that it is supposedly
available from http://linmodems.technion.ac.il/packages/. But this
site does not appear to be responding right now.

Where did you post the old driver for 2.2.16? Sorry if I am getting
confused.

I posted links to the old driver here on the list. Here is the posting:

The posting contains important details about how to set up the driver.
The directions were written for BL3.32 but the process is about the
same on BL2.

'Samsung' Manufactured 1990. My first one from 1986 got burn-in so was
dumped. The green light stays on the monitor when the computer is turned
off. On the newer VGA monitors it goes yellow.

This Samsung is probably using about 50W in screen blank mode.
