I have to agree with Julian on this.

Simply adding something to the end of the loop in summon that says if all
attempts fail, try again at
http://download.sourcemage.org/mirror/$DISTRO_VERSION/$GRIMOIRE/$SPELL-$VERS
ION.tar.bz2 or whatever is not difficult, and is more reliable for all
spells.
