The spell wasn't broken, it works very well.

Again, I'm sorry if it looks like I'm trying to offend you. I really don't. One the prior examples may be OpenSSL migration from 0.9.6 to 0.9.7, where creating symlinks posing as 0.9.6 version didn't do any good to anyone. OTOH, cast --fix, if allowed to run, would pick up broken pointers to db 4.0 and try to recast broken spells.

That's what we have TRIGGERS for as Eric mentioned.



well obviously we either need more triggers or we need to have some
better way of recompiling things when stuff like this happens because
obviously what we have doesnt always work (or we wouldnt be having
this problem).
