I'm sorry but I had to revert your change because I think it's not safe. I had trouble with db during migration (months ago) and during development of parts of this spell, and I'm familiar with what exactly is being done in Apache for instance to deal with 4.0 and 4.1 differences, therefore I can't see how this change solves the problem. Moreover, I gave my reasons on why this change may corrupt users' databases. Please don't take this personal.
