I think we should do this ASAP so that those "active developers" can help
the bogged down gurus. And as you said, quite a few are just "this works
with gcc3" or "this has a new version". I was looking at it yesterday
thinking of applying patches, but saw quite a few of these, which don't
need patches. :)

This would be nice, that way we can play with it and see if it's worth
switching to. We can also add web/cgi to CVS (through cvs-web, etc.) if
we do want to stick with CVS. I also recall Tony mentioning something
about a web interface for Perforce.

Along these *-dev lines, should we have <spell>-cvs spells for those who
like to be on "the edge"? There have been a few times (PHP, for example)
where something I wanted wasn't in any of the releases, but only in CVS.
