I tried that a few days ago using the stable-0.60 chroot image. I've been
meaning to post about it. I tried it first on real iron, but I think the
real iron I was trying to use has some hardware issue(s). So I switched to
installing under VMWare.

through a full sorcery rebuild without any issues. That VM is up and
running at the moment. A version of gaze I have with some personal tweaks
added, I call it gazem, and a spell from my old personal grimoire still seem
to work also. I haven't touched those in years. I'm starting to remember
how much fun SMGL is.

I can probably find the time in the next day or three to try installing from
the new stable-0.61 chroot image under VMWare.

What's the definition of a legacy system? One that works!
Errare humanum est, ignoscere caninum.
