This is really starting to get blown way out of proportion, so let me
set some things straight and try and calm everyone down.

1) I never said I wouldn't put iwlwifi on an ISO, I just said I didn't
feel like dealing with the trouble of getting it onto this ISO.

2) Until we have optional spells again (right now we still don't), this
means that the user will have to install the same base setup as everyone
else. This is *uncompressed*. This really will be significantly larger
for the purpose of a single spell. Again though, I didn't say I won't
put it onto an ISO. I just didn't want to deal with this issue *NOW*.

3) Madwifi *is* on the ISO, so that's not an issue.

4) I am all for making it so users can do what they want with the ISO.
To the extent that it is possible to do so without tainting the ISO, I
would prefer not to taint the ISO. If something is required on the ISO
that is binary in order for a user to do what he/she wants/needs to do
and it doesn't violate anything legal to include it on the ISO, I will
certainly include. I'd just like to be sure that there isn't an equally
good and free way to accomplish their goals first. Personally I don't
care for the RMS version of free, but on the other hand I don't want to
just start slapping binaries all over the place either. Patience and
planning are what I was trying to advocate, not a flame war. :-)
