I have a system built two weeks ago that creates working devices /dev/sda and
/dev/sda1 when I plug the USB key in. I installed the x86_64 ISO with the new
kernel yesterday, and since then rebuilt it to the latest test grimoire
(kernel
2.6.11.5). When I insert the USB key, it's reported (I can provide dmesg
output)
but no /dev/sda and /dev/sda1 are created. I have hotplug and udev on both
systems, and the udevd appears to be running on both machines. The hardware is
different of course, but I think I configured the kernels in a similar way
(both systems use latest test grimoire) in terms of USB support.
What I should I be looking at to troubleshoot this?

Thanks,
Sergey.
