Sorry Toby..missed your insertion here "> If Scrooge, Toby et all want

What a wrongheaded and needlessly offensive thing to say. If you look at
any of my posts, they are all on philosophical, ethical, and theory-based
aspects—how to think about and apply permaculture design--and almost never
on nuts and bolts. And Declan post’s have been almost all been on invisible
structures. (Actual observation rather than prejudiced pigeonholing would
be required to notice this, though!)

One more time: I don’t want this list to be a dumping ground for
_forwarded_ negative articles, petitions, political campaigns, etc, that
require ridiculous semantic conniptions to tie them to permaculture. But I
welcome _original_ thoughts on almost anything that a pemaculturist is
thinking about.

I’m delighted with Joao’s last post, where he offers his own thoughts on
ethics. That’s more like it!

Sorry Toby..no offense intended, perhaps it was a little metaphorical and
also repeated partly what Scott had illuminated. Which I agreed for many
people in fact most people through pour vast network are searching for the
nuts and bolts. And, rightly so. This demand overshadows the issues we are
raising in this dialogue...the deeper seated Invisible Structures of how we
can manage our selves as a harmonious honest group who do not allow
individuals to steal and ripp off others within. Which in one sense is core
to many of our once held Permaculture values, ethics and principles.

Like yourself Toby I didn't explain the depth of that viewpoint. ..I tend
to agree however with Lawrence that all issues on all topics can be covered
on this site. After all there are many chapters to the curriculum all of
which are valuable....Steve Hart
