I am glad that you were not too offended to come back with a reply. Most of us are open minded and interested in your knowledge of
Chinese and Tibetan culture.

I have always been curious about who you are and what you do
and why you have spent so much time in the Orient. Could you give us a little background on your work and travels?

As for hollywood, I never felt influenced by them regarding Tibetan culture. I have been interested in Tibet and Tibetan Buddhism for many decades and have formed my opinions about their people and their political and economic situation independently and, I feel, carefully
and thoughtfully.

Societies in all countries are always stratified; you simply seek out those whose values, knowledge and experience you hold in high esteem.
