Does anyone on the list have experience growing Taro in containers (buckets
or rubbermaid containers) in a pond? I'm working on a greenhouse design
which has a pond inside in which I want to grow non-frost-hardy water
plants. I put in water chestnuts this summer and they are doing incredible,
which indicates to me that taro would do just as well. I also need a source
for taro root to experiment with; have tried taro purchased from stores and
it rots very quickly before it sprouts.
