There are group beginning to form in the region, largely as a result of the PDC's (and teacher training * February 11 - 15, 2008*) we are offering in the region. Josh Benniston from Columbus is helping us promote the PDC (*February 22-24, Feb. 29-March 2, March 14-16, 28-30, April 11-13, 2008*) there and could use some help with promotion in Cinci.
Contact him at 740-818-9086 Read about these events at http://permacultureactivist.net/DesignCourse/PcSyllabus.htm

Fundamentally, you need to help such a group come together.

I have been promoting these courses through the various Relocalization groups in the area (Cinci has one and there two in Columbus). I suspect that these folks will become permaculture students sooner or later. You should definitely join up with them. http://relocalize.net

Get yourself a copy of Global Gardener and some other vids and start showing them. You will have a group start to form if you do this.

There is also a permaculture guild in the Athens area. Contact Hank Huggins for more info 740-742-1078.

Write to Peter Bane (peter@permacultureactivist.net <mailto:peter@permacultureactivist.net>) and see if he can share subscriber contacts from the region.

Also contact MaryLu Lageman in Loveland, Oh at 513-677-3241
Liz Landis in Dayton, 937-620-6523

I also have more contacts in Oberlin, Springfield, Albany, Orrville, and Rutland OH, but you can get these from the folks already listed.

Make it happen. Get help.

Good luck,
Keith Johnson
