Hi Robert,
The co-op organizing event in May looked very interesting, but travel from
Virginia was impossible at the time. Will the event be reepeated, and in the
meantime, are there any video/dvd or audio tapes of the proceedings available
for rent or sale? A few permies in Charlottesville are hoping to start a food
co-op; in Virginia a lot of the original food co-ops founded in the 70s
(Richmond's, Norfolk's, Charlottesville/Crozet's) ended after 25-30 year
runs in the early 2000s. But these days, interest is on the rise again-
enthusiasm of local foods and not as much bought-in from bulk suppliers
further afield is fueling this interest, and any info and resources you care
to share are greatly appreciated.
Many Thanks,
Michelle in VA
