Solar box cookers are a pretty neat technology, but they probably
don't seem too compelling to a person for whom the wood
hearth-fire/stove is, additionally, a flexible source of:
* home heat
* light
* food curing/drying (smoke)
* roof preservation
* termite elimination
and, it works 24x7.
