Yes. I have one and it hosts frogs, aquatic plants and at one time goldfish.
The water is always clear.

Can anyone name the long steemed aquatic plant in the picture? The other is
duckweed.
The blackness is the clear depths of the pool, 3' at deepest point. In
profile it a half-cylinder (fiberglass)
3' at deepest X about 8' X 4' wide.
