I've grown comfrey in full sun to mostly shade. I've been growing it for 25 years in all kinds of conditions in MI, NH, NC, CA, and IN. It has thrived in all soils and in drought and rainforest.

I don't think its the light.

Have you tried peeing on it?

mIEKAL,

does your comfrey do okay in strong sunlight, or does it get a little shade? mine is really not happy at all, and i'm planning to move it to a shadier spot. and i ALSO have some lilacs that i was planning to move there this fall :)
