Hi Frank,
re the design charette - doing it over the internet will have
limitations but I imagine it could be very useful. Remember the litte
brainstorm thingy I did with the chicken+duck+garden design? Much
smaller scale, I know, but it proved very useful. Even found a Wwoofer
who is going to come here at the end of the month to help me built the
coop (he's a carpenter and architecture student with a major interest in
permaculture - perfect!)
You could get some pictures of your farm, a map of the layout etc.,
basic climate data, soil info, native vegetation and such and put it
together as an overview. Folks could submit ideas, consideratons,
resources, as many already have on this list, except it'll be easier to
follow if it's all in one place.
Could yours be done through Larry's new and wonderful pc wiki? Would
seem to be the perfect place!
