LOL...you are not kidding! It sure will. I have lots of brush, and debris.
I've thought about doing same. But am concerned that I might be filling
drainage channels on those steep hills that might lead to formation of still
more drainage channels...sort of spurs...when the rainfall is heavy. Also I'm
concerned that those drainage channels might not be in the best places for me
to spread water where needed. OTH I simply don't have labor, $$$ to move a
lot of soil.
Like you said ...during heavy rains those ditches really move a lot of water
off the farm quickly. Although lots of water still remains...creating wet,
almost boggy areas in some pastures. Since I have cattle this is a bit of a
problem.
Look forward to the lists' comments, and insights since this seems to be a
common concern.
