After being stored and used? By used I guess you mean either burned or
metabolized, but either way I think all energy from the sun goes into heat
or kinetic energy. At the atomic level, I can't think of the difference
between them right now. Heat looks like one form of kinetic energy to me.
Anyone know?

As a side note, it's my understanding that 'dissipate' does not mean to go
away. It means to be dispersed and perhaps changed or redistributed. I
think that's exactly what heat and kinetic energy tend to do.
