Solar energy is used by plants for the process of photosynthesis, so become
embodies as biomass. The form the stored solar energy takes upon being used
depends on how it is used.

Solar energy powers the weather cycle, becoming embodied in the energy
transported by water (thermal energyand weather phenomonon.

For example, biomass burns (heat energy) and is consumed by herbivores
(powering living systems).
