Not now and certainly not about that. Project announcement in the pc list
should happen when
we have decided on hosting and have actually started work on the software and
the non programmers have started development
work of their own (considerable info and design-related tasks exist in that
department).

à Should we have only one liaison with Ibiblio? (Perhaps Chad?) Might they

Chad and Rich, Rich because he is already on ibiblio and Chad because he sent
the original proposal.
be getting annoyed with us (or are they used to this type of thing)?

Not annoyed, they are used to this.

UPDATE:

Cost of machine: $6300 to $6500
dual Xeons, 4 gigs ram, no Raid card; ibiblio will have within 3 months a SAN
(big disk storage machine)
so we need neither Raid or attached hard drive array

On the ibiblio globally-accessable Zope machine:
1) no root access
2) only Zope, nothing else - MySQL, Perl, php, etc. is accessable to us but
is on other machines on ibiblio's network/cluster
3) (if it can be installed) bugzilla can be run from a Linux user account and if it needs MySQL that is also accessable though that user will have to get a MySQL account for the bugzilla install - ibiblio does not offer Bugzilla globally
