Michele,
There is still time, if you act now, to collect a few scion sticks from
other pawpaw patches, and store them in a ziploc bag in the fridge for a
month. Then in mid-late April graft them onto any of the trees in your
patch that are at least 5 feet all. In 2013 they will bloom and cross
pollinate your native stand.
