A number of the commercial aronia wines I've tasted are nearly
undrinkable to me. They all seem to be highly filtered semi-sweet
blush wines. I've been making a aronia wine with 100% juice that
stains your lips like the deepest red wines on the market. I just
wish I had bottles around long enough to see how they'll hold up in 5
- 10 years. With all those anthocyanins, one would think the wine
would improve with age.
