More like tens of thousands of bushes. A friend south of me just
propagated 50,000 cutting to grow out. The aronia group that is
headed by Dale at Carandale Farms ( http://www.carandale.com/ ) has a
large group of farmers all putting in anywhere from a few hundred
plants to acres of plants in WI, MN, IA & NE.

Sawmill Hollow seems to have some of the most developed product line
using aronia, their catalogue will give you an idea of potential
products. I believe the health related products are the ones that are
selling the best.

Personally I'm putting in 100s of plants to make aronia wine which
I've found to be very popular. The amish like to get it from me to
use as medicine.
