Hello,. To answer your question these are all members of the solanaceae
family (tomatoes, and potatoes). The regular huckleberry is a close relative
of the blueberry and quite different from these solanaceae. I know with some
people, the toxicity of members of this family is a concern. It has never
been a problem for me with those I have eaten, the garden huckleberry and the
sunberry. The schwarzenbeeren has been grown for decades if not centuries,
and the Chiquilita, I have no knowledge of its history. However, I have no
concerns regarding toxicity.
