got quick 90% germination,
basically the same as if they were tomato seeds. They grew fast in
pots the first year. Then they went downhill.
Yes, I have had good germination and then they'd go downhill in a matter of weeks. I should go look in my book, bet I have all the info needed at home. Let me suggest that you grow them in very light, even sandy soil and keep them out of direct sun. The one plant I had that survived, for several years in fact, was down by the creek in the woods, on a slope in high organic matter soil. I had bought the plant, so that put it past the teeny weeny soon dead stage. Donna
