Not sure, but recommendations for home gardener's I've heard recommend
planting peach, cherry, and plums deep enough to bury the graft and
root on their own. I hadn't done that in the past, but I did on those
species of the 25 trees we planted this spring. I'll let you know how
it works in 10 years!
