Bill, if you want a truly safe fungicide for your pears, try a 10% solution of skim milk. That usually does the trick for me, and I live in a much more humid zone. (south Louisiana.)
Thanks! That sounds weird, but it's certainly worth a try. I can't imagine that it would cause problems, anyway.
