healthiest fruit?
I think the trouble with lot of these types of facts like the
oldest fruits and the healthiest fruit and other type of record setting
statistics is that they are very temporal and subjected to current study.
There are number of fruits that are even on Fruitipedia's website that may not
have had the kind of critical study and scrutiny that a number of these common
fruits have to determine nutrition. The dry climate of the middle east tends
to preserve evidence that may be lost in areas like in Southern Asia. I read
Bananas were one of the oldest cultivated fruits, but in areas of monsoons, or
high humidity, can we really know? This in fact seems to go against
(indirectly) what your website might be promoting - which is more
investigation in the lesser know fruits. By no means am I saying that a list
as this should not be made or used in promoting it, though I would always
phrase it in a way that invited further investigation into other fruits. I
know I am talk about an area I know little about, but I thought it may be
worth thinking about.
Any thoughts?

Dear all,
I read in a newspaper supplement yesterday that
kiwifruit was the healthiest among all fruits. The information is
based upon a comparative study of 27 fruits carried at the Rutgers
University.
What do you people think about this
statement.
Do we have some list members from Rutgers
University who could help me to get the names of the 27 fruits studied by
them.
