Oh, never mind the fruit and seeds. The truly horrifying part is that APHIS decided a few years ago to let nurseries import living plants, dirt and all, to sell in this country. God only knows what they will bring in that way. Then after deciding that that was all fine and dandy, they tried to pass some kind of rule that no new plant species could ever be brought into the US again, even through quarantine. Those people are nuts. Meanwhile, the state of Georgia has banned any and all plants from California because Sudden Oak Death could kill off the plants Georgia is famous for; oaks and azaleas. Donna
