Hey, maybe the Hawthorn name isn't really the problem. Maybe it's the
color. Maybe you should put in some red food coloring. People love red.
Put some "Red Hawthorn" jelly right next to your original "Hawthorn"
jelly. If the red kind sells out, that will tell you.

I like Thorn Apple, but be cautious nowadays with anything that is not
all natural or etc. My boys will stop if they see Red Dye #4. Of
course, I must have had tons of it, so maybe they're just nuts.

Apple Thorn? Mayhaw isn't as nice as Hawthorne, my mom's middle name,
otherwise I'd say anything with "haw" sounds unappealing. Like
coughing something up, but it's all subconscious. The idea of an
added color from another berry was an descent idea. Maybe
strawberry. Maybe not through and through, but a ribbon injected twist.

Forget your jelly, and look at those in gift baskets and niche stores.
A nice red table cloth lid someone does is a nice touch.
Wine bottles have some neat labels. organic looking grapes, a little vine...

Hey, there's a vodka with gold flakes that settle to the bottom.
YOURS, would stay suspended! Pizzaz!
