- Subject: [NAFEX] aronia as a rootstock?

HAs anyone tried grafting pears onto Aronia for
dwarfing characteristics? After seeing that a nusery
was selling dwarf shipova on Aronia, I budded some
pears on Aronia last summer, the buds took, so will
see what happens... It appears at the very least that
suckering would be quite a problem.
