Jonagold is used quite a lot on the west coast. It can be used as a single
varietal or a blender. Northwest Cider Society may e able to provide you with
some good information. Mac used to be good, but the skin is now like leather and
the flesh is quite grainy. You may be able to get a good Mac cultivar from
Cummins Nurseries.
