In my books, Sweet 16 is listed as a late bloomer. This means you'll need
another
late bloomer such as Reinette Rouge d'Etoilee, or Northern Spy.
Spartan is listed as a mid-season bloomer.
Gravenstein, Mutsu and King are all triploids and have sterile pollen.
I have the feeling that matching bloomtimes is not as important in the East
as in
the West. I've heard that the East warms up quickly and all the apples come
into
bloom at approximately the same time.
Honeycrisp, Jonafree, York Imperial might do the job.
Braeburn is listed as a late-bloomer, and self-fertile.
