Lucky:
I used rubber bands for some time. Not that I was dissatisfied but I found
Buddy Tape more to my liking. It comes in rolls and is perforated in, say 2"
segments. It stretches and binds the graft securely. It also degrades with
sunlight. You can buy it at A.M Leonard. (see Ed's note)

Subject: [NAFEX] Source for rubber grafting/budding strips?
Folks,
Mellingers', where I've bought my grafting rubbers for years, is going out
of business, and I need to hunt up a new source for the degradable red
rubber grafting/budding rubbers. I typically use .010 rubbers for fruit
trees & ornamentals, .020 rubbers for nut trees & oaks.
Can anyone direct me to a new source?
Thanks,
Lucky Pittman
