They were grown throughout the northeast in the 17th and early 18th
centuries. I grow some Bramleys.

Does anyone grow Bramleys (apples) in the USA?

My husband is English and ever since he's moved to the USA,
he has wondered if they are grown here, and if not, why not?

They are a large apple, much used for baked apples in the
UK.
