Depending on the deer pressure, and how secure the
deer feel in your orchard site, bet on them at least
tasting everything! Especially in the establishment
year, just from curiosity they will nibble whatever
you plant. Fence well, either the entire orchard 6'
to 8', or each individual new plant with its own cage.

Here grapes & raspberries are damaged less than other
fruits, but only because the woods are full of them.
