Deb, I too have a Meyer lemon which grows well inside.  This is one citrus I suspect would do better on its own roots rather than on a dwarfing rootstock such as trifoliata, which seems to dwarf it too much.

I also grow a beautiful Spanish lemon--not as cold-hardy, but with pink fleshed fruit and variegated leaves.  I have a Persian lime which I'm about to toss--frequent scale (the bane of indoor citrus growing) and very cold sensitive (my house is too cool, I think.)

Logee's Greenhouses, in Connecticut, recommends Dancy and Owari Satsuma tangerines for potted growing.  Owari is earlier and might be the way to go.  Owari's flavor is wonderful, too.

My biggest problem with citrus growing is that my water is hard and alkaline. Once I started adding sulfuric acid (in small quantities) to the H2O the leaves on my plants are much less chlorotic.  I find that citrus are relatively heavy feeders if you want a decent crop.  I use an organic seaweed and fishmeal fertilizer that I get from a local sustainable ag company.  It's great, if a bit expensive.

I am interested in possibly growing a small citrus.  We are  in zone 5b, so it would have to be something that I can cart indoors in the colder weather.  I'd love to have a lemon or tangerine.  Are there any very small varieties that would thrive in a pot and that produce fruit worth eating?
