Title: Re: [NAFEX] Silvery Fir Tree - Tomato
Here in Oregon, in a cooler climate, I've tried Silvery Fir twice.  Both times it has been rather shy bearing and quite acid, to the point that it makes my mouth sting a little.  The plant was handsome, but I suspect we either need a strain for cooler climates (especially cool nights).  That's just here, though.  It has traits that suggest it should be quite good in a climate with warmer summers, especially with warm nights.

The tomatoes have a tangy acid-sweet mix.  As the first of the season, they
are absolutely wonderful!
