I have a four-year-old (four years since planting) Yellowhorn in Lone Rock,
USDA Zone 3, that showed no damage at -40F. Bailey's wholesale nursery out
of St. Paul, MN rates the plant as Zone 4 hardy. Unlike most nurseries,
their hardiness ratings for northern zones are actually pretty good.
